The Government of Maharashtra on July 04, 2024, issued clarifications on various issues pertaining to special procedures for the manufacturers of the specified commodities.
The following has been stated: -
•With reference to Circular No. 208/2/2024-GST dt. June 26, 2024, issued by the CBIC it has been decided that the Circular issued by the CBIC is being made applicable, mutatis mutandis, in implementation of the MGST Act, 2017.
•This Trade Circular is clarificatory in nature. Difficulty if any, in the implementation of this Circular, may be brought to the notice of the office of the Commissioner of State Tax, Maharashtra.
