The Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation on June 01, 2024, issued a notice related to the Fire Safety Certificate and Occupancy Certificate.
Owners, administrators and occupiers of all buildings in the area are hereby notified that, for the safety and well-being of the public of the Municipal Corporation till this date, those who have not obtained a Fire Safety Certificate and Occupancy Certificate will have to obtain it compulsorily. Suppose the fire safety certificate of any building has expired. In that case, the interested party can register at the https://gujfiresafetycop.in portal, apply for a fire safety certificate renewal, select a private fire safety officer appointed by the Gujarat government, and check the fire safety equipment installed in your building. The certificate has to be renewed.
In case of failure to do so, action will be taken to cut the electricity connection, water connection, and sewerage connection of such buildings and if necessary, criminal action will be taken which should be taken seriously by the concerned concerned.
