The Rajkot Municipal Corporation on June 12, 2024, notified regarding the procedure for unsealing of educational and health units which have been "sealed" in respect of fire NOC/BU permission has been released in view of the submissions of various delegations and the prevailing situation.
The following has been stated:
• The Educational units like schools, colleges, pre-schools, coaching classes having a valid fire NOC can be unsealed by obtaining prescribed affidavit (B) or production of certificate of regularization of unauthorized construction.
• The Entities like Hospital, Clinic, Samajwadi having valid Fire NOC can open the seal by obtaining prescribed affidavit (to produce certificate of regularization of BU or unauthorized construction).
• The Hospitals, clinics and educational units like schools, colleges, pre-schools, coaching classes who have fire NOC, but fire NOC is not renewed (to produce certificate of regularization of BU or unauthorized construction) by obtaining prescribed affidavit 15 The seal can be opened on the condition that the fryer renews the NOC and presents it. If the renewal certificate is not produced within the prescribed time limit, no extension of any kind will be granted and the unit will be sealed.
• The Technical units and hospital, clinic type units which are not required to obtain fire NOC as per fire regulation can open the seal by obtaining an affidavit to take necessary action under impact if there is any unauthorized construction.
• Other assembly building type units like mall / shopping complex, party plots, banquet halls, restaurants, hotels, theatres, multiplexes, gyms etc. type units with valid fire NOC and BU / Unauthorized constructions on presentation of certificate of regularization Procedure for unsealing to be carried out.
