The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 05, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Facility for Basic Services Demat Account (BSDA).
The following has been stated namely: -
• The list of active BOIDs has been provided along with holding valuation as of June 30, 2024, who are eligible for BSDA as per the following criteria: -
o Demat accounts under individual category
o Value of securities held in demat account
a. Not exceeding Rs. 2 lakhs for debt securities as of June 30, 2024.
b. Not exceeding Rs. 2 lakhs for non-debt securities as of June 30, 2024.
o Demat accounts registered for the SMART facility
o One demat account of the first holder across depository where verified PAN of the first holder is available.
• The file with the naming convention as “BLNG_BSDA_JUN2024.tar” has been kept in the respective billing folder of DPs in which 3 files will be available.
