The NSE International Exchange (NSE IX) on July 08, 2024, notified regarding the Changes in file structure for submission of data in respect of Unique Client Code (UCC).
The following has been stated:
• The members are hereby informed that additional details as mentioned below are required to be reported to the Exchange for all their clients who are exempt from obtaining PAN (both existing as well as new clients).
o Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
o Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)
o Passport Number
o Upload of copies of TIN and passport
• The following client categories are being removed from the UCI file structure:
o FPI Category 3 Institutional
o FPI Category 3 Individual
o FPI Category 3 Non-Individual
• The file structure for bulk upload of the UCC information has also been revised. New format of file structure and bulk upload is enclosed herewith as Annexure 1. User manual for the application is attached as Annexure 2.
• The Members are requested to send application to activate/modify/deactivate the admin login for UCI application as per the format prescribed in Annexure 3 to [email protected].
• The changes will be made available on UCI online with effect from July 15, 2024.
