The Council of Architecture (CoA) on July 08, 2024, notified the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 to further amend the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020.
The following has been stated-
•In Regulation 4 for sub-regulation (1) the “(1) No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.” sub-regulation shall be substituted.
