The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on July 09, 2024, notified regarding the simplification of Bill Payments for Customers and Billers.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) simplifies bill payments for customers and billers, and acts as a single point of contact for customers and billers, facilitating efficient account management and grievance resolution.
• It offers customers a unified, convenient, and secure platform for bill payments, with timely reminders, transparent transactions, and multiple payment options.
• It offers billers an increased customer reach, simplified integration, efficient reconciliation, robust grievance handling, and enhanced customer satisfaction through unified payment experiences.
