The University Grants Commission (UGC) on June 26, 2024, notified regarding the strict compliance of UGC notification/guidelines regarding the Fee Refund Policy.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that institutions shall comply with the UGC Fee Refund Policy and process fee refunds without any further delay.
• It states that its non-compliance shall result in punitive actions outlined in clause 5 of the UGC Notification on Refund of Fees and Non-retention of Original Certificates issued in October 2018 (Copy attached).
