The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on July 05, 2024, issued a notification regarding the draft revision of registration fees and annual fees for recurring expenses towards ISPS DG Communication Centre.
The following has been stated: -
•Revision of the one-time registration fees and the annual fee for the services provided by the DG Communication Centre to meet the increasing expenses has been done.
•The proposed fee structure has been circulated to all the stakeholders and their feedback has been taken into consideration while finalizing the revised fee structure.
•The fees payable will be checked by the DGCOMM center during the annual testing of the Ship Security Alert System (SSAS) any by the Mercantile Marine Departments.
•The fee structure revision will apply for fees paid after July 01, 2024.
•The Stakeholders may submit their comments before July 16, 2024.
