Commercial ComplianceThe Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on June 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the date of establishment and date of withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Insulating Liquids — Determination of Interfacial Tension with the Ring Method — Method of Test.

In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be June 17, 2024, -

• IS 6104: 2024 IEC 62961: 2018 Insulating Liquids — Determination of Interfacial Tension with the Ring Method — Method of Test (First Revision).

• IS 8198 (Part 8): 2024 Steel Cylinders for Compressed Gases — Code of Practice Part 8 Common Organic Refrigerant Gases (Second Revision).

• IS 8198 (Part 10): 2024 Steel Cylinders for Compressed Gases — Code of Practice Part 10 Methyl Bromide Gas (First Revision).

• IS 11739: 2024 Method of Recording Dust Ingress in Automotive Vehicles (First Revision).

• IS 18551: 2024 ISO 13746: 2019 Textile Floor Coverings — Installation and Use on Stairs — Guidelines.

In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be July 17, 2024: -

• IS 6104 – 1971 Method of Test for Interfacial Tension of Oil Against Water by the Ring Method.

• IS 8198 (Part 8): 1993 Code of Practice for Steel Cylinders for Compressed Gases Part 8 Common Organic Refrigerant Gases (First Revision).

• IS 8198 (Part X) - 1980 Code of Practice for Steel Cylinders for Compressed Gases Part X Methyl Bromide Gas.

• IS 11739 - 1986 Method of Recording Dust Ingress in Automotive Vehicles.
