The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) on July 10, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Increase in the size of documents uploaded in the Principal Place of Business and Additional Place of Business for New Registration and Amendment.
Changes have been made in document upload size in the Principal Place of Business and Additional Place of Business for New Registration and Amendment catering to the grievances received from trade.
Taxpayers can now upload Municipal Khata Copies, Electricity Bill, Consent Letters, and Property Tax Receipt documents up to the maximum size of 500 kb in the Principal Place of Business tab and Additional Places of Business tab as mentioned in the document.
