The Government of Rajasthan on July 10, 2024, issued a notification regarding the reduced stamp duty.
Being that it is expedient to do so in the public interest, it hereby orders that the agreement or memorandum of any agreement under clause (e) of Article 5 of the Schedule appended to the Act and the power of attorney under clause (f) of Article 44 The stamp duty chargeable will be reduced and charged as follows:-
•2.5 percent of the market value of the land, where the developer or promoter receives a part of the developed property as consideration under an agreement or memorandum of agreement or power of attorney and is given powers to sell that part of the developed property himself.
•One percent of the market value of the land, where the developer or promoter has not been given powers to sell any part of the developed property under the agreement or memorandum of any agreement or power of attorney.
