The Board of Practical Training (Eastern Region) on May 01, 2024, issued the demonstration on the Implementation of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for all the establishments (including Private establishments) located in the Eastern Region and registered in NATS with BOPT(ER).
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that all establishments, including private ones, shall ensure timely receipt of the Central Government's share of stipends for their on-roll apprentices.
• To facilitate this transition, virtual meetings have been scheduled on May 3rd, 6th, and 7th, 2024, from 03:00 PM to 04:00 PM, to address queries and assist establishments in implementing DBT.
• It states that before initiating DBT payments, establishments shall refer to the "Manual of DBT Payment Initiation" available on the website.
• It states that all previous months' apprenticeship details shall be entered into the system before initiating DBT payments for April 2024 to ensure successful acceptance by the system.
