The Finance Department, Rajasthan on July 10, 2024, suppressed an older notification related to stamp duty and registration fee chargeable on the instruments.
The following has been stated:
• It has stated that the stamp duty and registration fee chargeable on the instruments specified in the table shall be reduced and charged at the rate as specified in the Table.
• This notification shall also be applicable on instruments executed or instruments pending for registration or reference before the Sub-Registrar or for adjudication of stamp duty before the Collector (Stamps) or Rajasthan Tax Board or any other Court but stamp duty and registration fee already paid shall not be refunded.
