Commercial ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on July 09, 2024, issued the Draft Haryana Municipal Advertisement (Amendment) Bye-Laws, 2024 to further amend the Haryana Municipal Advertisement Bye-Laws, 2022.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In Schedule 1, in clause 14, for sub-clause (2), the following sub-clause, shall be substituted, namely,-

“(2) Self-advertisement is permitted only on 3% of the total area of facia/ facade of the building, in form of bill board, walls wrap. If the owner utilizes more than 3% of total area for self-advertising, then it shall be considered under categories defined in Annexure-5 and accordingly applicable charges shall be levied.”

Notice is hereby given that the draft bye-laws shall be taken into consideration by the State Government on or after the expiry of a period of fifteen days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, together with objections or suggestions, if any, which may be received by the Commissioner and Secretary to Government, Haryana, Urban Local Bodies Department, Chandigarh from any person with respect to the draft bye-laws.
