The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) on July 11, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Collection of JVS charges and sampling protocol.
The JVS analysis charges bill shall be immediately raised to the concerned industry. Once the analysis reports are generated, the same shall be decoded & immediately communicated to the concerned industry without waiting for receipt of payment of analysis charges. Industry shall pay the JVS Charges within 15 Days from the communication of analysis charges, failing which the penal interest @12% per annum will be recovered. The payment of the JVS analysis reports from the industry may be verified & accordingly recovered during the next visit to the said industry.
