The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on July 11, 2024, issued a consultation Paper on the Framework for Service Authorisations to be Granted Under the Telecommunications Act, 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that DoT through the letter dated June 21, 2024, requested TRAI to provide its recommendations on terms and conditions, including fees or charges, for authorization to provide telecommunication services as per the provisions of the Telecommunications Act 2023.
• It seeks comments/ counter comments from stakeholders on a Consultation Paper on “Framework for the Service Authorisations to be Granted Under the Telecommunications Act, 2023”
• It states that written comments on the issues raised in the Consultation Paper shall be sent by August 01, 2024, and counter-comments by August 08, 2024, via email at: [email protected].
