The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on July 12, 2024, has issued the notification regarding the Commencement of Futures Trading in the MCX iCOMDEX Base Metal Index (MCX METLDEX®) October 2024 Contract.
The following has been stated namely: -
• MCX iCOMDEX Base Metal Index (MCX METLDEX®) October 2024 Futures contract will be available for trading as below:
o Contract Launch date – July 15, 2024
o Contract Expiry Date – October 22, 2024
o Contract Expiry Month – October 2024
• The contract specification and trading parameters of the contract as specified in the Annexure, shall be binding on all the Members of the Exchange and constituents.
