The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) on July 10, 2024, issued the Draft Drugs Rules (......Amendment), 2024, to further amend the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 74, which states “Conditions of licence in Form 25”, in clause (p), after the words “the drugs specified in”, the words “Schedule G,” shall be inserted;
• In rule 74A, which states “Conditions of licence in Form 25B”, in clause (i), after the words “the drugs specified in”, the words “Schedule G,” shall be inserted;
• In rule 78, which states “Conditions of licence”, in clause (q), after the words “the drugs specified in”, the words “Schedule G,” shall be inserted;
The said draft rules shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of a period of 45 days from the date on which the copies of the Gazette of India these draft rules are made available to public;
