The Ministry of Education (MoE) on July 12, 2024, issued the National Council for Teacher Education (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the National Council for Teacher Education Rules, 1997.
The following has been stated:
• In rule 9, which states “Fee”, for the figures “1,50,000”, the figures and words “1,50,000+Goods and Services Tax or other tax as per applicable rates of the Government of India” shall be substituted;
• In rule 10, which states “Appeals”, for the figures “25,000”, the figures “25,000+Goods and Services Tax or other tax as per applicable rates of the Government of India” shall be substituted.
This notification will come into force from July 12, 2024.
