Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 13, 2024, issued colocation regarding revision in the rack allotment procedure.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that participants shall use the Exchange's electronic member interface 'ENIT' to submit rack allotment applications or requests for the Co-location facility.

• It states that upon submission of a rack desire request, 50% of the rack charges shall be paid within 2 working days by 3:30 pm.

• It states that the Exchange shall maintain separate waitlist queues for rack desire requests received:

o 1st Waitlist - Requests submitted by members for FPI/FII clients or Domestic Investors. 

o 2nd Waitlist - New / Prospective members.

o 3rd Waitlist - Existing members with less than X number of racks allotted (any variant).

o 4th Waitlist - Existing members with X or more than X number of racks allotted (any variant).

• It states that available racks for allotment shall be reserved as 15% for 1st waitlist (FPI/FII client/Domestic Investor), 15% for 2nd waitlist (new/prospective members), 25% for 3rd waitlist (Existing members with less than 10 racks), and 45% for 4th waitlist (Existing members with 10 or more racks).

• It states that participants shall procure the provisioned rack by submitting the rack allotment request via ENIT within 3 working days from the date of such email alert.
