BSE issued surveillance measures for securities under IBC

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 15, 2024, issued surveillance measures for securities under IBC.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It is in reference to the Exchange notice no. 20180608-34 dated June 08, 2018, and Exchange notice no. 20220520-52 dated May 20, 2022, regarding Additional Surveillance Measure for Companies as per Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).

• It states that the securities as per attached Annexure I have satisfied the criteria under ASM for Companies as per the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) with effect from July 16, 2024.

• It states that the list of securities which are moving out from the IBC Framework, w.e.f.  July 16, 2024, is given in Annexure II, and a consolidated list of securities under the Framework is attached in Annexure III.

• It mentions that the shortlisting of securities under the Framework is purely on account of market surveillance, and it shall not be construed as an adverse action against the concerned company/entity.
