The Central Marks Department III (CMD-III) on July 10, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Revised Product Manual for IS 2082: 2018 Stationary Storage Type Electric Water Heaters - Specification (Fifth Revision) and IS 302-2-21: 2018 Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2 Particular Requirements Section 21 Stationary Storage Type Electric Water Heaters (Second Revision).
The following has been stated: -
•The Competent Authority has approved the Guidelines for implementation.
•All ROs/BOs are requested to ensure the implementation of the Guidelines with immediate effect.
