The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on July 16, 2024, notified regarding the Flying More Than One Type of Aeroplane (Fixed Wing Aircraft) – Scheduled, Non-scheduled and General Aviation Operations.
This CAR lays down the conditions for securing the safety of aircraft operations and is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5A of the Aircraft Act, 1934 and Rule 133A of the Aircraft Rules 1937 for compliance by all concerned operators and holders of pilot license.
This CAR is applicable to operators engaged in Scheduled, Non-Scheduled and General Aviation Operations.
With the issuance of this CAR, AIC 2 of 2000 hereby stands cancelled.
The comments are invited by August 14, 2024, on Draft Revision to CAR Section 8 Series F Part I - Requirements for exercising the privileges of ratings on multi-pilot aeroplanes/aeroplanes of AUW 5700 Kgs and above.
