Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Assam on July 04, 2024, issued the Assam Skill University (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024, to further amend the Assam Skill University Act, 2020.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In section 11, which states “Vice Chancellor”, in clause (a), in the third line, for the word "three" appearing in between the words "exceeding" and "years", the word "five" shall be substituted.

This notification will come into force from July 04, 2024.
