The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, (MNRE) on July 16, 2024, issued a Revision of the Rate of Central Financial Assistance (CFA) for Biomass Pellet manufacturing units under the Biomass Programme component of "National Bioenergy Programme" (NBP).
The following has been stated-
•The rate of CFA for pellet manufacturing plants stands revised and accordingly, para 2.1 of the scheme guidelines are mentioned in the document.
•The revised rate of CFA shall be applicable to the projects which shall be received in the Ministry in the Biourja Portal under Phase-I of the Biomass component of the National Bioenergy Programme of MNRE after the issue of this Office Memorandum.
•All other contents of the scheme dated November 02, 2022, shall remain the same
