The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on July 15, 2024, issued the notification regarding the amendment to notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001 which states “fixes the tariff values of Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil and RBD Palmolein”
The following tables have been amended namely: -
• Table 1 has been amended which states: -
o Crude Palm Oil
o RBD Palm Oil
o Crude Palmolein
• Table 2 has been amended which states: -
o Gold
o Silver
• Table 3 which states “Areca Nuts” has not been amended.
This shall come into force on July 16, 2024.
