IFSCA notified regarding the removal of Turkiye and Jamaica under the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) High risk and other monitored jurisdictions

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on July 16, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) High risk and other monitored jurisdictions.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The “Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring” are: 

Bulgaria, Burkina, Faso, Cameroon, Croatia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Haiti, Kenya, Mali, Monaco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Philippines, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Venezuela, Vietnam, Yemen. 

• Turkiye and Jamaica have been removed from the list of Jurisdictions under Increased Monitoring based on the decision made at the June 28, 2024, FATF Plenary.
