The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on July 18, 2024, notified regarding the clinical training and affiliation of Private / Govt. Nursing and Paramedical (Allied and Healthcare Professional) institutions to the ESIC hospitals for the academic year 2025-26.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that only one institution per course per session with ESIC Hospital supervision shall be granted permission.
• It states that this facility of clinical training shall be approved initially for one year which may be extended up to 03 Years.
• It states that the college seeking affiliation shall not exceed a maximum distance of 30 km from the ESIC Hospital, and extendable to 50 km in specified Hilly and Tribal Areas per Indian Nursing Council guidelines
• It states that a maximum of 100 students shall be permitted for clinical training programs at one hospital for one academic year and the charges of Educational/Clinical training of students at hospitals shall be paid by the institutions to ESIC.
• It states that the completed application forms comprising Annexures I, II, and III (attached below) and accompanying documents shall be submitted by email and in hard copy only till September 06, 2024.
