The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 18, 2024, notified regarding the Validation of KYC Records With KRA.
The following has been stated:
• The list of DP-wise demat accounts identified against the said invalidated PANs are made available by CDSL in the DPs billing folder with file naming convention as “BLNG<<DP ID>>_KRA_DEFICIENT_BO_ 16072024.tar” for follow up with identified deficient BOs.
• The aforesaid Demat accounts will be frozen for both - debit and credit with freeze reason code “27 – Account holder related–KYC non-compliant” on Saturday, August 03, 2024, considering the updated data made available by KRAs as of August 01, 2024.
