Industry Specific Compliance The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) on July 19, 2024, notified regarding the omission of the sub-regulation (4) of regulation 7 of the Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Foods) Regulations, 2018.

The following has been stated:

• It has stated that the sub-regulation (4) of regulation 7, which states “Packaging and Labeling Requirements”, of the Food Safety and Standards (Fortification of Foods) Regulations, 2018 is omitted with immediate effect.
