The Government of Andaman and Nicobar on July 19, 2024, issued a notice regarding fraudsters disguising in the name of arranging loans under government schemes.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that certain miscreants were deceitfully taking money from the public under the guise of arranging loans from scheme implementing agencies.
• It urges the public to stay alert and beware of such fraudulent activities as scheme implementing agencies have not engaged any private party to promote or sanction PMEGP projects or any financial assistance under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
