The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on July 11, 2024, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Flashlights.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be July 08, 2024, -
• IS 2083: 2024 Flashlight — Specification (Third Revision).
• IS/IEC 61558-1: 2017 Safety of Transformers, Reactors, Power Supply Units and Combinations Thereof Part 1 General Requirements and Tests (First Revision).
• IS/IEC 62146-1: 2013 + AMD 1: 2016 Grading Capacitors for High-Voltage Alternating Current Circuit-Breakers Part 1 General.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be October 08, 2024: -
• IS 2083: 1991 Flashlights — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS/IEC 61558-1: 1997 Safety of Power Transformers, Power Supply Units and Similar Part 1 General Requirements and Tests.
• IS 11530 - 1985 Specification for Voltage Grading Capacitor.
