The Government of Bihar on July 20, 2024, issued amendments in the Bihar Motor Vehicle Taxation Act, 1994, regarding the BH-Series.
The following amendment has been issued:
The written ''Note'' is being substituted as follows: -
"Note- In case of registration of vehicles in BH-Series, the motor vehicle tax provisioned for 2 years or in multiple of 2 years shall be levied for 14 years (2X7). Those vehicles which is registered under BH Series by paying tax of two year only, those vehicles will have to pay the tax of rest 12 years within 60 days otherwise penalty will be imposed as per law.''
This notification shall come into effect after 05 working days from the date of its publication in Bihar Gazette.
