The Science & Technology Department, Odisha on July 05, 2024, issued the Operational guidelines for providing assistance for participation in Trade Fairs, 2024.
This shall come into force on January 25, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that Biotechnology Units/ Biotechnology Start-Ups operating in the state of Odisha shall be entitled to avail this assistance a maximum of two times during the operative period of this policy.
• It states that expenditure incurred from participation in National/ International Trade Fairs towards total stall rent, product literature/ catalogue, and display material subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 shall be provided per event.
• It states that eligible Biotechnology Units/ Biotechnology Start-Ups shall apply for assistance in the nature of reimbursement in the format prescribed in Annexure-A (attached below) at least one month before the start of the International Trade Fair.
• It states that on completion of the event, the applicant shall submit a claim form for reimbursement within 60 days of participation.
