The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on July 23, 2024, issued the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Countervailing Duty on Subsidized Articles and for Determination of Injury) Amendment Rules, 2024 to further amend the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Countervailing Duty on Subsidized Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 23A which states “Subsidy margin for exporters not originally investigated” has been inserted.
This shall come into force on July 24, 2024.
