The Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) on July 23, 2024, issued a notification regarding Regulation 13 that provides for payment of late Fees by the promoters in case of delayed application for registration of real estate projects.
There have been representations received from Builder Associations with a request to reconsider the decision to levy the late fee for project registration.
The matter was discussed at length in the 22nd Authority Meeting held on July 22, 2024 wherein it has been decided that Regulation 13 providing for payment of late fees shall be kept in abeyance.
Now, pursuant to the above decision of the Authority, Regulation 13 is hereby kept in abeyance with immediate effect until further orders.
