Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Chhattisgarh on July 19, 2024, issued an amendment to the Chhattisgarh Excise Licensing for Retail Sale of Country and Foreign Liquor (Regulation) Rules, 2018.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In Rule 8, which states “Liquor Lifting”, the following Rule 8 (d) is substituted, namely:

Rule 8 (d) - Rates of duty on supply of liquor from warehouse for country/foreign liquor from September 01, 2024, will be as specified in the Table.
