The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) on July 22, 2024, notified the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2024 in supersession of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (Determination of Petroleum and Petroleum Products Pipeline Transportation Tariff) Regulations, 2010.
The following has been stated: -
•Regulation 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like
•Regulation 3 specifies to whom these regulations are applicable.
•Regulation 4 mentions the determination of petroleum and petroleum products pipeline transportation tariff.
•Regulation 5 specifies the procedure for the determination of tariffs for petroleum and petroleum product pipelines.
These shall come into force on the 1st day of the month following the date July 25, 2024.
