The Ministry of Home Affairs, (MHA) on July 26, 2024, issued a notification regarding the exempts the classes of the persons in respect of the arms of the category of description.
The Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 665(E) dated the February 12, 2020, namely: -
The following has been stated-
•In the said notification, in the Schedule, —
(a)in serial number 2, in column number (3), for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - “(iii) Pistol/Revolvers (excluding prohibited and restricted category) which are permitted to be used in any national/international competitions or sports events;”; (b) in serial number 5, in column number (3), for clause (iii), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: - “(iii) Pistol/Revolvers (excluding prohibited and restricted category) which are permitted to be used in any national/international competitions or sports events;”
