Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on July 26, 2024, notified regarding the enforcement date of the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023.

It states that the provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023, related to serial numbers 18, 30, and 31, and the entries relating to the Patents Act, 1970, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and Protection) Act, 1999, respectively, shall come into force on August 01, 2024.
