The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on July 26, 2024, issued a circular regarding changes in the frequency of submission for Holding Statements.
The following has been stated: -
• To enhance monitoring of client assets on a continuous basis, it has been decided to revise the frequency of submission of Holding Statements from weekly to daily. Accordingly, members shall make the submission of a Holding Statement for each day of the week (except for Sunday) on a daily basis with effect from July 29, 2024, onwards, the due date of which shall be the subsequent day and each day thereafter.
•The current process of weekly submissions of Holding Statement through the NCFE Portal will be available for submissions till the week ending July 27, 2024, for which the due date will be August 01, 2024. NCFE portal for daily submission of Holding Statement will be available from July 30, 2024.
