The National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) on July 27, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Registration/ De-registration of Power of Attorney (POA) or Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction (DDPI).
Based on the representation received from the participants and back-office vendors, NSDL shall implement the required changes in respect of the aforesaid enhancement in UDiFF Standardised file formats only. The UDiFF catalogue published on the NSDL Website (accessible at https://nsdl.co.in/nsdlnews/udiff.php) already contains the details of the formats and ISO tags wherein the information about registration/deregistration date are required to be captured.
Accordingly, all Participants are advised to make necessary changes in respect to new enhancements in their back-office system by August 30, 2024.
