The Health and Family Welfare Department, Gujarat on July 25, 2024, issued the Gujarat Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) (Removal of Difficulties) (Second) Order, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Section 5 of the Gujarat Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2021 which states “Authority for Registration” the following has been amended namely: -
o In clause (b), for the words “the Chief District Medical Officer/Associate Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent”, the words “the Chief District Medical Officer/Associate Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent/Chief District Health Officer” shall be substituted
o In clause (c), for the words “Chief District Health Officer of the concerned District”, the words “the Regional Deputy Director (Health and Medical Services) of the concerned region” shall be substituted
