The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on July 23, 2024, notified the draft Jabalpur Cantonment Board Solid Waste Management Bye-laws, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Chapter II is about the Segregation and primary storage of solid waste.
•Chapter III is about Solid Waste Collection.
•Chapter IV is about the Secondary Storage of Solid Waste.
•These bye-laws shall be applicable within the territorial limits of the Jabalpur Cantonment.
The objections or suggestions, if any, shall be taken into consideration by the Central Government after the expiry of thirty days from July 28, 2024.
