Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on July 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the enforcement date for certain provisions of the Copyright Act, 1957.

The following has been stated: -

•The Central Government appoints August 01, 2024, as the date on which the provisions relating to serial number 13, and the entries relating thereto in the Schedule relating to the Copyright Act, 1957 shall come into force.
