The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, (MCAFPD) on July 29, 2024, issued an extension for seeking Public comments are solicited on the proposal to amend Rule 3 of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.
The proposal to amend Rule 3 of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 for seeking comments, from all stakeholders by July 29, 2024.
Given the requests received from various federations, associations and other stakeholders, it has been decided to extend the timeline from the last date of submissions i.e. July 29, 2024, to submit comments and feedback on draft Rules, if any, until August 30, 2024.
