Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on July 31, 2024, amended an older notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to the reduction of Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude and export of Aviation Turbine Fuel.

The following has been stated: -

•In the notification, in the Table, - 

(i)Against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 4600 per tonne” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on August 01, 2024.
