The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on June 22, 2024, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Mopeds Seat Pillars.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be July 18, 2024, -

• IS 13444: 2024 Animal Drawn Vehicles — Pneumatic Tyres — Specification (First Revision).
• IS 14283: 2024 Automotive Vehicles — Accelerator Control Systems — Safety Requirements (First Revision).
• IS 14495: 2024 Automotive Vehicles — Pillion HandHolds for Two-Wheeled Motor Vehicles —Requirements (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be October 18, 2024: -

• IS 13283: 1991 Aerospace — Self-locking, Hexagon Nuts (MJ Series) — Strength Classification 1 100 MPa — Maximum Operating Temperature 425 °C — Specification.

• IS 14283: 1995 Automotive Vehicles — Accelerator Control Systems — Safety Requirements.
• IS 14495: 1998 Automotive Vehicles — Pillion Hand-Holds for Two-Wheeled Vehicles — Requirements.
