The Government of Goa on July 30, 2024, issued an amendment in the older Notification no. 3/1/WS/2015-16/D.Agri./323, related to the issuance of a scheme - “One time assistance to farmers for removal of weeds/shrubs/bushes, aquatic weeds by hiring power driven machinery/equipment/manually”.
The following has been amended namely: -
• The Eligibility clause 3 (I) shall be substituted with “Individual Farmers, Farmers Clubs/Groups/ /Societies/FPO’s etc. involved in cultivation of various types of Agricultural/Horticultural crops with maximum permissible subsidy up to 1.5 ha. for individual farmers & 3 ha. for Groups/Societies/FPO’s etc”.
